Getting Access Denied when using asbackup to backup to AWS S3

Why do I get an Access Denied error when backing up to AWS S3 using the Aerospike asbackup utiliity?

Answer

This will be as a result of a permissions issue on the S3 side. Please ensure the following permissions have been granted:
  • s3:ListBucketMultipartUploads
  • s3:ListBucketVersions

Notes

Aerospike Tools versions 7.0.0. onwards
asbackup versions 3.10.0 onwards
