The rewind functionality of XDR ships all records that are currently in the namespace with a LUT more recent than the specified time, but XDR also ships deletes when running in the steady state. Are deletes also shipped by a rewind?Answer
The fact that a record was deleted is only visible to the system when durable deletes are enabled so that a tombstone is created, and the tombraider process has not yet removed the tombstone. If both of these are true, then XDR rewind will ship the deletion, but if the tombstone has been removed, or was never created, the deletion will not be shipped.Notes
